Theatre magazine

   Arthur Hornblow took over the pictorial Our Players, a quarterly that began publication in 1900, and transformed it into the monthly The Theatre beginning with its May 1901 issue. Later called Theatre Magazine or Theatre, it continued publication until 1931, ultimately eclipsed by its more serious-minded competition, Theatre Arts.
